While living in Italy, Maggie fell in love with the onion dome style of church steeples found on many of the churches. This style of dome dates back to Byzantine times and is most famous in Russia and Eastern Europe. These earrings and pendant were inspired by the onion dome steeples. Using a variation of peyote, we will build our own onion domes with seed beads. Domes do not cover any core piece and stand alone. Learn to make different sizes and to use the components in your designs. Must know peyote stitch and be familiar with right angle weave.
