Huib Petersen - Autumn's Glory Oak Leavesdate: Aug 19 2011 - 9:30am  These leaves are stitched in a diagonal peyote stitch within and a de-crease on the edges finished with picots. Using a right angle weave for the stems and connecting the leaves with spider webs, shapes the necklace. Little acorns (not pictured) hanging from the closure complete this beauty. date: Aug 19 2011 - 6:00pm  Each leg of this ocean dweller is stitched separately in circular peyote stitch, with increases on the spine and then stitched together with a zipper stitch. By itself a great little sculpture to place any where in your home. Or make it the focal point of a necklace, combine them with other sea creatures and create yourself a “neck-quarium”.
